Fat Flush Diet
The fat flush diet emphasizes weigh loss and detoxification. Anne Louis Gittleman is the author of the original fat flush diet plan book. This diet plan divided into three phases, intended to boost metabolism, reduce water retention, and enhance fat loss. This diet is often referred to as the cranberry fat flush diet because it emphasizes drinking cran water (diluted cranberry juice) as a cleanser. Phase 1 The first phase of the fat flush diet lasts one to two weeks. This phase is suppose to reduce water retention by restricting your diet to between 1100 and 1200 calories per day. The fat flush diet foods that are not permitted during this phase are sugars, oils, fats, bread, starchy vegetables, dairy products, grains, or alcohol. Phase 2 In this phase of the detox fat flush diet you can increase your caloric intake to between 1200 and 1500 calories per day. This phase is ongoing until you achieve the desired weigh loss. Phase 3 This is the fat flush diets maintenance phase. During this phase your caloric intake can be 1500 and over, and some previously forbidden foods are reintroduced. Other Components The fat flush diet also requires a regular regimen of physical activity. An exercise routine of between twenty and forty minutes per day is recommended. In addition, it is advised that dieters get at least eight hours of sleep per night. Pros of the Fat Flush Diet A review of the fat flush diet plan will turn up numerous success stories. The program has all of the ingredients for a healthy weigh loss plan. If followed properly it can clean your body, cleansing it from impurities, toxins, and poisons. It will leave you healthier, happier, and lighter. Cons of the Fat Flush Diet One of the problems with the free fat flush diet is that phase one may prove to be too extreme for the average dieter. The caloric restrictions in this phase may end up slowing down your metabolism making it harder to lose weight. It will feel as though you are starving and in turn slow down your metabolism as a survival method. In addition this low caloric intake will make it practically impossible to exercise regularly. You body will lack the necessary energy to take part in any work out routine.
