Beyoce Diet
The Beyonce diet, also called the master cleanses diet, or the Beyonce maple syrup diet was developed by Stanley Burroughs. It is a liquid diet intended to cleanse the body of toxins and impurities while stimulating the growth of healthy tissue and weight loss. The Basics The Beyonce Knowles Diet diet, or Lemonade diet, requires that you drink a concoction of the juice from two lemons, two ounces of maple syrup, a dash of cayenne pepper and eight ounces of water. You should consume this Beyonce weight loss drink in place of food for the entire time you are on the diet. On the master cleanse diet you are not allowed to eat any food at all. You should also drink an herbal laxative tea twice a day to increase your bowel movments. Advocates of this diet say that the Master Cleanse Diet is safe if followed for a maximum of forty days. They also indicate that a minimum of ten days is needed in order to be effective. It is also recommended that you cleanse your body with this diet once or twice a year. This Master Cleanse Diet has recently been made popular by singer and actress Beyonce. She stated on the Oprah Winfrey show that she lost over fifteen pounds in fourteen days by following this diet. Her Response While Beyonce does admit to using this diet to shed weight for her movie Dream Girls, where she had to play a character at the age of 16 and 36, she does not recommend the diet. She admits that it did help her lose weight quickly, but insists that she only turned to the drastic diet because of her movie role Beyonce has also stated that she was happy with her before weight loss body and when the shooting was over she resumed her normal eating habits and gained the weight back immedeatly Women’s Day magazine did an article on Beyonce’s weight loss, and what Beyonce uses as her diet. Many people have criticized Beyonce for this crash diet, which caused her to go on record stating that a normal diet and exercise program is the only way to lose weight healthily.
